Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix had an early aptitude for sports when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting ability at the time. Within 10 weeks of her first tryout she came third in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for an official career at Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic prize at the 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s which set the new world junior record. In 2005, she was the youngest 200-meter world champion during the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, beating her longtime Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently within the top three throughout her events during the Olympics which took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
