Bernadette Peters
Bernadette Peters, nee lazzara, was born February 28 the 28th of February, 1948. She is an American actress, singer and children's writer. She has appeared in films, television, musical theatre and solo concerts, as well as on recorded recordings. Her career spans more than six years. The critically acknowledged as a Broadway performer She has earned seven Tony Awards nominations, winning two (plus an honourary award) and nine Drama Desk Award nominations. She was awarded three. Grammy Awards have been won by four of the Broadway cast albums where she has performed.
Many consider Peters as the best Stephen Sondheim interpreter. She is particularly well-known for her performances on Broadway, such as in Mack and Mabel (1974), Sunday in the Park with George (1884), Song and Dance (1885), Into the Woods with George (1987), The Goodbye Girl (1993), Annie Get Your Gun (1999), Gypsy (2003), A Little Night Music (2010), Follies (2009), and Hello, Dolly (2018).
